• Tuesday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Sunday: Closed

Parking

Please ask for parking directions when you make your appointment. There are parking garages nearby where you can park. There is also meter parking on the streets. If you park at a meter or lot, you can use coins or download the Go 502 APP prior to your appointment. Obtain the Zone and Space number from the meter and pay once you are signed into the clinic. You can renew your meter from your mobile phone.

Directions

Louisville has many one-way streets, especially close to the clinic at 136-138 W. Market. EMW Women’s Surgical Center is the second unit on the right when you cross 2nd street on Market. Market is one-way going east.

From I-65 South of Louisville:
Take I-65 North to downtown Louisville
Exit at the Muhammad Ali Exit, go to 2nd Street and turn right
Turn right onto Market Street, and the second building on the right is EMW Women’s Surgical Center

From I-65 North of Louisville:
Take I-65 South to downtown Louisville
Exit at Jefferson Street. Stay on Jefferson Street until you reach 2nd Street and turn right
Turn right onto Market Street, and the second building on the right is EMW Women’s Surgical Center

From I-64 East of Louisville:
Take I-64 into Louisville, exit onto I-65 South (marked Nashville, Louisville), exit at Jefferson Street
Stay on Jefferson Street until you reach 2nd Street and turn right
Turn right onto Market Street, and the second building on the right in EMW Women’s Surgical Center

From I-64 West of Louisville:
Take I-64 into Louisville
Exit at 9th Street. Turn left onto Market Street
EMW Women’s Surgical Center is approximately 7 blocks on the right

From I-71 North of Louisville:
Take I-71 into Louisville
I-71 will merge into I-65 (marked Nashville, Louisville)
Exit at Jefferson Street
Stay on Jefferson Street until you reach 2nd Street and turn right

Beware of the anti-abortion clinic: BsideU

There is an anti-abortion clinic next door to EMW. This anti-abortion is sponsored by anti-abortion groups who will try to delay/discourage you from entering EMW Women’s Surgical Center. It’s easy to confuse the two units, but BsideU is not the abortion clinic.

Naral – Fake Women’s Health Centers

BsideU has a private parking lot behind their unit. Don’t park there, even though they have signs stating that you can. BsideU may offer you a free ultrasound. EMW Women’s Surgical Center will not be able to accept their ultrasound. EMW’s licensed medical staff will need to perform an ultrasound to accurately date how many weeks you are pregnant.

Clinic Escorts you can TRUST!

Unfortunately, there are always protesters in front and/or near the entrance of the EMW Women’s Surgical Center.

So look for a Clinic Escort Volunteer to assist you with parking, and walking you to and from the clinic on any given day.

The Clinic Escort Volunteer will be wearing the bright ORANGE vests that say, “Clinic Escort Volunteer” or “Pro-Choice Clinic Escort.”

It’s best to IGNORE and NOT SPEAK to the protestors.

Some but not all protesters will be wearing bright neon yellow vests. They do this to make people think they are clinic escorts, but they are not. Most of the time they will be carrying pamphlets to give you, but you don’t have to take them, if you don’t want to.
